I'm not sure about the content of this video (I have dial-up so can't watch!!!) but I'm a public health student and research has proven links to stress and its effects upon the immune system. my work has recently focused upon the effect of stress upon the ability to fight off the hpv virus which 90% of people with the virus do naturally (Fang et al, 2008) - stress (or perceived stress, lowers this ability).
Definately the 'mind over matter' theory is so relevant. Even placebo medicine. Many champion the fact that it's a placebo and has no place in modern medicine. But IF IT WORKS, and has NO SIDE EFFECTS as modern medicine usually does then WHY THE HELL NOT!
