To be fair this isn't exactly new:

Compressed air car - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

However, like usual. Whoever, is pulling the strings relies on the fact people have problems with long term memory so they can continue to brush things under the carpet without no-one hardly noticing.
And if they do, they just say furthur test proved to be 'unsuccessful' or not economically viable. (which is the truth, as it would be bad for their potential profit margins).
I remember a video years ago on youtube, it was a new documentary about how a university in Japan developed a 'ghost' chip for a computer. Using the basic understanding of Quantum Mechanics they showed how something the size of a coin could hold thousands upon thousands of terrabytes of data, and still showing 0% useage.
A few people I attend University with also remember seeing it, but we can't find any resources or notes anywhere any more. Therefore, most people assume we are nuts. (Even more so then what we already are :p)
