View Full Version : Dreams : the most missunderstood subject
The history of interpreting dreams goes way back. However I have yet to see proper interpretation. To understand why, let us understand what dreams are.
When you fall asleep, you start dreaming. What actually happens is : your pineal gland becomes active and you have access to the astral and hyperspace plans of reality, as well as connecting with your own higher self.
During your dreamstate, you are actually downloading info regarding what is going on with you at the moment, or where are you in your life at that point.
The info you download is made of thoughts. Thoughts are made of colors, archetypes and tones.
Because your conscious minds does not understand this universal language, your brain translates it for you using familiar people, situations, actions and places.
And you make little scenarios or mini movies.
To be able to interpret dreams you need to take the elements in the dream and interpret them symbolically to reveal the mindpatterns that generated them. You need to understand archetypes and colors, as well as tones.
I know VERY few people on Earth who can properly interpret dreams. It is sad.
Everything I ever saw was wrong and people write books and make money off this. But to each his own.
I would like to take the opportunity to give a few examples.
Things to remember : nightmares are VERY important messages .
Dreams can be programming activations, astral experiences, messeges from your higher self, and more. So the person who interprets them needs to understand all this very well to be able to interpret them in a proper manner.
Y'know, I read something online before going to bed one night.
I thought I'd give what I read a try, which was quite simply addressing my 'higher self' and asking for a message in a dream.
Yeah, it sounded pretty stupid to me but sure enough I woke the next morning earlier than I would usually with a clear-as-day recollection of the dream I had, and it wasn't normal.
Anyway, I fell back to sleep and forgot all about it. :(

That is exactly what you should do
However, you need to write it down immediately or at least whatever you remember.
Next time you dream, as soon as you are conscious, immediately put yourself in color brown and start writing. Brown will ground the message you received. And you will retain most of it
Do you remeber ANYTHING at all ?

very good ! :)
thus each person has to interperate their own dream symbology which is why books to translate them is mainly a con .
IMO .

yes ..all BS unfortunately
to decypher dreams you need to understand archetype meaning, color meaning, and tone meaning
the dreams are symbolic, and those who interpret them need to understand the symbolism very well
sometimes I see interpreting on TV or whatever and it can be quite hillarious/disheartening

Can you point me towards some good info to help me decypher my dreams? I've always been interested in the dream state and what my dreams mean.
Thanks!

Each person has their own symbolism.
Take the word 'stone' for example and write down the first association that comes up in your mind from that word.
My association could be 'solid' but someone else could think 'wall' or 'rock' or something else.
One of the things you could do with your remembered dream-symbols is write down the words (your dream symbols) and write your associations with these words.
Sometimes it gives you more insight to your own dream-symbols.
Also, if you experience feelings connected to your dreams you might want to look into the things happening in your awake life that correspond with those feelings.
Anyway, I do think books and info on dream-symbols can assist you getting on the right track to interpret your dream-symbols. But I'm not saying that they are always right, they are just a tool.
I find it always helps me to talk to someone about the dream, as other people often shed a different light on the story you tell them. It can put you on a different train of thought....

All I remember is a light-blue colour and whatever the message was, I already knew it.
Strange dream!

Well I’m completely confused over a dream from this morning…Seeing somebody that I don’t know…Size_of_Light moving through fire ravaged areas at super fast speeds and recording everything with a camera as he’s travelling along?
Then myself being in the spirit world and taking a written test…Like what the???

first one :
your physical self raising it's level of understanding while purifying certain aspects of yourself .. the camera is your brain, the movie registered are your NEW mindpatterns
you are purifying aspects of your personality, raising your level of understanding and changing to new mindpatterns ( good stuff )
The second part : you in the spirit world taking a written test
" you are feeling challenged when you try materialize your spiritual ideas "

I have always tried to interpret my dreams upon waking, although some dreams make it very easy for me to decode than others. i really do not understand at all. a day last week i had a dream and i actually heard a voice talking me through what was happening and what i was learning from it who was playing what role etc, i remember waking and thinking that was great, i must write it down, but then like i do alot of the time i fell straight back to sleep and cannot remember the message in the dream, just the being told part. was still good though, i feel this happens alot in my dreams, but i was more aware of it this time.
My nightmares usually consist of people trying to kill me, my head wont let me see the message in that. other than people are trying to kill me. I work with horses and dream about horses alot, usually other people using and abusing them, like real life.

Most of the communication in my dreams is telepathic, this includes any animals that appear. Very few words are spoken. Does that have significance. I remember very few dreams but those I do are very vivid, boldly coloured and cause emotions.

I sometimes get animals in dreams 'talking' telepathically, but these are some of the dreams which i can never remember what was said, but i always know it was really important info they were giving.. really frustrating!
do you keep a dream diary? If you get vivid colourful dreams, might be worth it!?

Keeping a dream diary is a great tip.
I've been keeping one for 17 years and it does help me to remember and interpret dreams.
A lot of the time I can't interpret the dreams straight after I wake up but a revisit a couple of days later usually works a bit better.
Also talking to someone about it helped me along many of times, you often stare yourself blind on the dream-symbols while other people listen to you and ask the right questions or make the right links that I had not thought of!

I think you're bang on the money there, and that's exactly what I've always thought that dreams are; our way of interpreting concepts that are beyond physical or neurological comprehension.
I also keep a dream diary and have some incredible dreams (although I have a not-so-incredible recurring dream where I give birth to a hamster!) and have often wondered whether I'm seeing visions of the future.

It is my belief that dreams are an attempt to communicate from the higher self to the physical self. I have found if a person will study a particular system of dream interpretation than the higher self will adopt this system and one's dreams will make sense. If however the person has no system in place the dreams will simply a hodge podge of guesswork most of the time. So pick one way of analyzing your dreams and stick to it.
