I've just been sent this link by my brother.
I've been trying to convince him for a long time that David Icke is "right" on a few issues but he wont have it :)

Anyhow what do people make of this?

Just browsing over that intitial page made me want to throw up a little. That old chestnut of "well such a conspiracy would have to be so large that too many people would have to...". It really doesn't mean anything and it's just an easy way for a debunker to essentially try and dismiss every piece of evidence in one fell swoop.

Further down it suggests all of New York city's firefighters would have to be in on the conspiracy. This is a tactic to tweak an emotional response from the reader and nothing more. It claims few, if any, know more about building collapses than a firefighter. Does the author of that website honestly believe that tosh? On 9/11 3 skyscrapers suffered fire damage and a hell of a lot of immensely brave people did all they could to counter those fires. As it happens each of those 3 building collapsed. The lucky ones escaped with their lives, the unlucky ones didn't. The ones who survived picked themselves up and got on with their lives, and I'm sure that's about that for their involvement.

Tell your brother about this blog as well, which looks at both 9/11 and 7/7 'truth' activists.

Cheers, I will do.
My brother is an intelligent bloke but when I talk to him about David Icke and his theories he just dismisses him!

What a bunch of nonsense. I read few a few of the tabs on the website and couldn't take it seriously. It's explanation for how the Towers collapsed is a laugh. First of all, it denies that the buildings fell at a rate at least comparable to freefall speed. This is what it says:

In every photo and every video, you can see columns far outpacing the collapse of the building. Not only are the columns falling faster than the building but they are also falling faster than the debris cloud which is ALSO falling faster than the building. This proves the buildings fell well below free fall speed.

The explanation given by the author indicates that he doesn't know anything about building construction. He talks like he's 10 years old and pointing at the building.

The entire site is run off of confirmation bias, and given that the evidence is just so obvious, it appalls me anyone can doubt it was an inside job considering the nanothermite case alone, as well as the virtual freefall collapse of building 7. All these things are dismissed like they don't even exist.
