I loved Nirvana. What a surreal experience to have them become the biggest band in the world for a while. Back when Bleach was there only LP I played the crap out of it. I had no idea who "Kurdt" Cobain was except that he sang and played guitar in this awesome band.

Soundgarden was the shit back then, too. I especially love their original lineup with Hiro Yamamoto on bass. That is their best stuff in my opinion: the first two EPs and LPs. Here they are just after Hiro's departure with Jason Everman on bass. Jason Everman was credited with guitar on Nirvana's Bleach, but didn't play on it - he only put up the money for it!

Ah nice one honey:D Hehe, yeah they were bloody brilliant! I couldn't go the last time I had tickets so was determined to make it this time & it was well worth it. We got right up front as well so had a great view:D I don't think their old stuff has dated at all, it's all still relevant today & played excellently!
