Pictures/symbols from Bavaria

just made a trip to Germany and Bavaria. I suspected that there might be some interesting(illuminati?) symbolism there...and yes indeed there was. Here are a few pics:

1) First one from a local church(Catholic) in a little village:

Blimmin heck....now there is some hardcore symbolism. :eek:

Sorry Amadeus, but I don't know what that symbol is you asked about, but I'd like to find out more about it also.
