So we have seismic earthquakes in the past few weeks in Haiti, Japan and Chile.

They say if the San Andreas fault line goes we are all doomed even those on high in their Coloarado mansions.

Nichiren Daishonin said when the quakes and the floods appear it will be a mark of mans wickedness and only their return to their true nature will appease it.

Time to put the trolls on ignore and find the highest form of our own true nature in words, thoughts and deed.

Are you a geologist. We don't know that a flood did hit the entire Earth we just have a theory that it did. It isn't provable.

So how do you know we won't have a cataclysmic flood? Or a San Andreas Fault line quake. It is due to go off by the way. I'm amazed at how Friskans or the Kiwis don't give a monkies either.

We've NEVER had floods on this scale in Britain. It's happening all over. We are even getting larger tremors too.

I'm not going to bury my head in the sand and pretend SOMETHING isn't happening out there to cause this. Whatever it is. It needs to be stopped. I won't rationalise by stating oh Govt wants our cash either. They ain't getting my cash ever again.

Im not disagreeing with you but what makes you so sure? It may have happened at least once before, it may happen again. Perhaps not in our lifetimes however.

His teachings apply world wide and are relevant today despite the fact that the makers of Zeitgeist the movie have insuated in their latest offering that they are summoning the devil with the mantra. He said this would go world wide long after his death. Such is the ability of any Buddah to 'see' as did the original Buddah as did the original David Icke. He actually said we were all Buddahs so you can see the reason for the urgency in how he put his views across. That means don't leave it to corrupt politicians to oversea the worlds problems. You can see why they held him in captivity with a view to beheading him.

Not having a religious debate here either. Though I accept your point. It's not the main point of the topic. I was merely stating that each of us must be responsible for how we behave towards our environment. Worldwide. I'm sure all religions have prophecies for this.

What I will always dispute until someone shows me the signed in blood treaty that says "we the undersigned do hereby promise to fuck everyone over by screwing with the planet for own evil ends mwahaha", I will not believe that we are responsible for earthquakes, or that they are a sign that we are doomed.

Floods, maybe, indirectly by our interference with rivers, drainage patterns and as a result of climate change, but certainly by accident not design.

Nature is not punishing us, it is behaving as it always has. To be Buddhist about it, it is what it is, it is only the consequences for ourselves that make us interpret it as bad or good.

in the British Isles they used to dredge the rivers to stop them flooding,and allow for larger vessels, but no longer because it causes environmental damage to the wildlife. they have left the rivers to silt up, and built on and tarmaced flood plains rejecting the age old remedy, why am I not surprised when a river overflows, and it can only get worse. The river servern at Stourport-on-Severn was deep enough for small commercial ships to navigate, this was, why and, at the time of the building of the canel by James Brindley to link the Severn to the Trent in order to faciltate the export of coal built in 1771.

sorry but it appears to have little to do with earth changes and more to do with waterways neglect by saving the great God they call MONEY
