I used to write articles for sites like roguegovenment and blacklistednews. Several of my articles were posted at larger news sites like truthnews and infowars. The following article was written by me back in late '07, and it pertains to the subject of this sub-forum. Thought you guys might like to indulge in this one.
When Barnett first started doing these 'talks' on C-SPAN a few years ago, I tuned in, being interested in geopolitics and national issues for a long time. What he said shocked me, and alarmed me even more for how in your face it all was. I think most of you know by now that there is nothing 'conspiracy theory' about global government. Enjoy.

DOD Plan: 21st Century Global Police Force
There's a new strategy now being implemented in our military. It is one of policy, one of ideas, one of control. It is a new strategy both of empire, and of creating a new image for the United States so that its military can pursue the dream of empire while at the same time attempting to retain the face of diplomacy and encouraging democracy. Thomas Barnett, an 'international security strategist', has for the last 10 years, been doing lectures to defense contractors and military/industry insiders concerning the world's emerging threats and how the trend towards globalization effects American policy goals and operational tactics. Barnett's lectures are bold and he comes off as part defense wargamer part motivational speaker. He speaks openly about globalization and the United States' instrument as an enforcement arm of globalization efforts. There's lots of new buzz words like 'battle space', 'global strike force', and 'functioning cores'. It's all funny insider talk for dissolving national sovereignty across the globe and using powerful nation states such as China and the US to implement this global plan.

In a recent lecture with industry heads and defense contractors, Barnett made some very bold statements that must not be laughed at, but scrutinized and brought to the public. In his speech, Barnett admits that the U.S. now operates its military not for national defense, but as a means to defend and spread globalization across the planet. He also discusses breaking the military into two different operational cores, one called the 'Leviathan force', which will be the hard-hitting offensive unit, and the 'system administration', made up of older members, officials, and bureaucrats. One will be made to wage war, the other to wage peace. In his own words, Barnett claims that the system administration unit will be made to 'obliterate' posse comitatus, one of the United States' oldest and best laws at protecting the civilian population against a military form of government (it should also be noted that during several of Barnett's bold claims, his audience laughed jokingly). Barnett also stated in the lecture that if America doesn't have an enemy, it makes one. He references China as one (again, to big audience laughs). It's well known by anyone who reads between the lines that the American and British governments fund and train terror groups and it has also become a well established fact that the U.S. has been involved in huge trade deals with China, not just commercial products and bank deals, but also IT tech, intellectual properties, and military resources. An April 2007 Insight mag article even mentioned an essay put out by the Rand Corporation that listed ways China could one day soon defeat the United States using anti-access strategies and economic blockades.

Barnett's material and his work with the Naval War College can be found online and is open for anyone to read. He might make strong predictions for the future of American military use, but the overall aims and goals are not secret in the beltway; it only becomes a 'conspiracy theory' when it is criticized and brought to public scrutiny. It is no longer whispered in secret that the future of our military will be used to enforce international law and policy, only a matter of how to best achieve the aims of the globalists.

And Barnett isn't alone in openly discussing a military form of government for the United States and other 'democratic' nations. Former U.S. General Tommy Franks said in an interview in December of 2003 that if America is attacked again on the scale of 911, our government and constitution would be replaced with a military form of government.

There has even been talks in Congress of limiting or even overturning posse comitatus, not to mention PDD-51 and other executive branch presidential orders signed by Bush and former presidents that would centralize power into the executive office in case of a national emergency.

What was once silenced by the mainstream media has now come to the light. Heads of the military industrial complex have been under the influence of globalists and international cabals for years, and now their work is bearing fruit. They claim that it is only a matter of time before the United States, along with the rest of the world, is under one branch of government, one rule of law, and possibly even under one man's iron fist. The old enemies like the USSR are gone or have been removed from the threat assessments, and in their place are property owners, tax protesters, the faithful, environmentalists, gun rights advocates, and anyone else who doesn't tow the line of submission and global control. The defense contractors have declared the public to be an enemy.... how long will it be before the people see the big red targeting laser pointed at their forehead? How long will it be before the citizenry puts honest people in Congress who will place proper oversight on these defense insiders and stop them from turning our once glorious and SOVEREIGN military into a blunt instrument to kill and blow things up in the name of internationalism and democracy?
