The UK govt has responded to the pettition on school fingerprinting:

I sometimes work in schools and have seen this quite a lot. Doubt the government will ban it it. It's their way of programming kids for the coming cash free society.

That's the prime goal: to desensitize kids and get them accustomed to the identity check culture that the govt are engineering.

ps which oxford pubs do you sup in? I go there every new years eve for my ale - I'm from oop north.

Thats assuming you live in the city of course.

There's a Hotel called the Randolph which we start in and the Guinness is about 67 quid a pint :D

The Randolph is the poshest place. It's where Bill Clinton stays! I'm usually found in the Bookbinder's Arms.
