Does anyone else have trouble sticking to the diet they know they should be eating and with work and family commitments getting in the way of an exercise routine? I do!
The problem is that I'll eat healthy food for a few days and after a while I'll spend about £5 and binge on chocolate and cake. I am not overweight and this is not about losing weight, but I actually get a food hangover and feel rank afterwards. I love all this sort of food, and eating other greasy fried stuff, it's just so lush. :o
Sometimes when family stuff is going on I just end up sacrificing my gym time, and really there is no need to do that, it is only an hour/hour and a half out of my day, I should be strong!
Anyone want to be mutually supportive and try and keep each other on the healthy path of righteousness?

Sure:)
This is just a suggestion but maybe you could find substitutes for your "usual highs"? I have somewhat the same problem me think. I love chocolate, and don't exercise much at all. Not fat though.
Anyway, instead of buying unhealthy chocolate, I started making my own from scratch. It's really not hard at all. There are many ways to do it, but basically all you need is dates, chocolate powder (100%), coconutoil (best if high quality) and maybe some nuts. Healthy and tastes even better than the regular junk.
And for exercising.. if you find it hard to keep the routine going, it may be just as good to walk on your feet or bike to work one day. What I like about that is if i bike to work, my "daily workout" is already over when I get home, and I have the rest of the evening to my self.

its always best if you have some1 watching ur diet back as u watch theirs :P
its taken me 6-7 months to change my diet, there was no rush involved but the hardest thing to cut was sugar, ive had bits recently but really controlled m intake and i feel much better :D my biggest problem at 1st was living next to a corner store :P
the best motivation i've found is learning about food, nutrition and your bodies chemistry. The more I learn about processed food the less I want to eat it! The ingredients panel on a lot of food does the job well enough to stop me eating that crap, can list a few short clips / docus ifu interested.
like minestrone said, try and get ur exercise into part of your day, the whole point of going to the gym is just to move your body around, sweat and get out of breath. If you have an active job / lifestyle then diet should be your main concern.
btw ive taught fitness and martial arts for about 9 years now and studied it for much longer. if you make your workouts more intense (less rest, shorter bursts of exertion instead of long mainted: sprints, less rest between weight sets etc) you will get much better results and it will take less time :) Also if you enjoy your workouts you'll get better results, consider joining a sport team or a local martial arts school
