Well technically it is a round. However look the sybolism on the reverse side. It looks to me as if it is a conglomerate of Canada, the US, and Mexico. A North American Union?

I'll check back with more information.

I found this recently. It was added to a site which sells gold/silver very recently. Propbably within the past few days. It is up for sale but not in stock. Which tells me that perhaps these were produced in a limited quantity. For what reason? Why sell them during the Olympics and not prior? It has the Vancouver 2010 logo on its obverse side.

If you have looked at Mayan/Aztec art you would see the similarity right away in the bird on the coin. It reminds us also of the Presidents Seal of the United States. A fusion of two countires? North America/South America. Interstingly the 11 Canadian Maple Leafs above the birds head form an arch. The movement of the sun. Also the leafs are placed overhead; Canada sits atop (geographically) the United States.

I see the bird as being Quetzalcoat/Kukulcan.

"The Red 'Children of the Sun,'" writes James Morgan Pryse, "do not worship the One God. For them that One God is absolutely impersonal, and all the Forces emanated from that One God are personal. This is the exact reverse of the popular western conception of a personal God and impersonal working forces in nature. Decide for yourself which of these beliefs is the more philosophical. These Children of the Sun adore the Plumèd Serpent, who is the messenger of the Sun. He was the God Quetzalcoatl in Mexico, Gucumatz in Quiché; and in Peru he was called Amaru. From the latter name comes our word America. Amaruca is, literally translated, 'Land of the Plumèd Serpent.' ... One of their strong centres was in Guatemala, and of their Order was the author of the book called Popol Vuh. In the Quiché tongue Gucumatz is the exact equivalent of Quetzalcoatl in the Nahuatl language; quetzal, the bird of Paradise; coatl, serpent--'the Serpent veiled in plumes of the paradise-bird'!"

For additional information please read this thread. My posts in that thread tie into this symbolism as well. I posted alot of good info.

Very interesting.

It seems they are telling us what's coming, as usual...

I found a few different versions btw, which dont have the bird on it:

A version with a Mayan looking sun image, seems to be limited (http://www.silvercoinstoday.com/wp-content/images/2010/01/Royal-Canadian-Mint-Ultra-High-Relief-2010-Sun-Silver-Coin-600x307.jpg)

Not so very interesting version with two maple leaves surrounding a hockey player (http://www.silvercoinstoday.com/wp-content/images/2009/08/2010-olympic-silver-maple-leaf-bullion-coin1.jpg)

The sun version might worth looking into more as goes for the bird version.

Preludes to the 2012 proclamation of Zion?
