"The video below juxtaposes two clips of Bush speaking at debates--one during the 1994 Texas gubernatorial campaign, the other during the 2004 presidential campaign. You will probably be shocked to see how--there is no other word for it--articulate a public speaker our current president was a mere 12 years ago."

(Blair Golson thinks that Bush's sudden inability to speak well is evidence of "pre-senile dementia". I think there is another possible explanation: he is tripping over his own consciousness of lying.)

pre-dementia is certainly a possibility. He's a little young for that from a historical perspective. Diseases are flaming out of control though. Mind controlled? A new level of "hey, I'm a regular American moron?" I think the "Bush phenomenon" is the exact key to bringing down the US. What better way to bring the US to its knees than to give everyone a universal punching bag who disses kyoto, the UN, and seeks to impose US hegemony, and then we have the "solution" of a pro-international commumity (UN), pro-carbon tax (a la Al Gore), pro-minimum-carbon-foot-print (pro-abortion) poster child? A stroke of genius, IMO.

That is exactly right. He was articulate and the difference is quite staggering. Perhaps it is the drug and alcohol abuse or maybe he is programmed to play the moron.

That's my guess, though probably both.

Either way, he is a perfect reflection of the general intelligence of this country.. that's for sure.
