View Full Version : Healing Past Grief

Recently as I have been doing emotional work on myself, I have found myself smack dead in the middle of an enormous amount of grief. For about the past week, it has been very overwhelming to the point that I have had to really limit the activities that I have been doing. I am not in any danger of hurting myself, but I am having a really hard time. I have shared this with a few close people, but I don't want to drag them down. This is something that I cannot just stuff down and will it to go away just so that I can do "normal" things.

I'd like to hear some input from those of you who have been able to work through this in a healthy way (no numbing out with booze or drugs). I am looking for positive solutions.

As you don't go into specifics:-

All I can advise is to use EFT(Emotional Freedom Technique) to clear the problem.

I have had some recent personal losses in my life that I am trying to process which is why I chose not to get into specifics. But thanks for posting the videos. But I am also looking to hear from people who have successfully worked through their own grief.

EFT will work brilliantly for what youdescribe.

I rid myself of some major past issues/guilt within a few days.

Now I feel so much lighter.

have patience :)

why ask for help if you are just going to discount any suggestions? I know a few people who swear by the eft techniques :)

its difficult to give any specific advice without knowing the nature of what's troubling you but whatever you choose to do, don't let fear control your actions. Never act out of fear and never think about negative outcomes, people like to obsess over the worst case scenario. If you approach whatever is troubling you with courage I'm sure you will come to terms and accept it :)
