View Full Version : Cyber Shockwave. We were warned? WTF!

I watched the CNN broadcast of Cyber shockwave last night. If it wasn't really happening, I would have thought it was a joke.
Each segment came out with the eye opening title subheadline saying
We were warned.
Could they be any more blatent? A bunch of political thugs sitting around trying to figure out how to take over the country due to an alleged attack our computer networks through a worm.
That little worm caused them to
1) Shut down the internet.
2) Cut off cellphones
3) Nationalizing the TELCO and Power companies
4) Rationing diesel for generators, saying "well, hospital only have 12 hrs. After that a lot of people are going to die"
5) Activating the National Guard or Army internally in the country
6) Rounding up hackers and anyone else suspicious
7) Suggesting the president take executive power and call for martial law
Here's a short clip
Raw Video: Huge Communications Attack Simulated - YouTube
This should have been broadcast on TruTV or something like that. But not CNN, which is supposed to be a news channel. Not a government propaganda station.
Remember when they used to say, well, since TV is free, we need commercials. Now, we all pay for TV, and there's more commercials than ever.
Hell, CNN even had this infomercial called Cyber Shockwave.
It was obvious while Wolf Blitzer was questioning them at the end, trying to get them to say that a rogue American group is attacking America.
Suggesting the Roman Generals sitting around in their 5 star hotel pretending to be oh so important is the face of America!
Disgusting!
edit to add:
Isaiah 14:11
Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.

The 'internet' is an abstract concept to describe the process of connecting multiple computers in multiple locations. Good luck turning it off.
I see this as more fear mongering based on the average person's level of knowledge of how things work to justify more censorship and restriction on the internet so they get kept at that level.
As for going after hackers. Everyone is a hacker. To Hack is to make something do something it wasn't meant to do. Every time in your life when something isn't quite how you want and you do something to change it; you're a hacker. In their truest forms, Hacking and Magick are the same thing.
I saw that but was and still am confused about all of it
What exactly is it... I am surprised that a cyber attack can cause all that destruction. The real question is will it mess up my computer lol

Yes, they're most certainly going for hackers. I can't recall his name at the moment, but that gent from the UK was set up. There were no passwords or any other security measures in place on the network he accessed. It's evident that they were waiting for someone to enter so they could have a scapegoat.
The second incident of precedence was the supposed case of FRB chairman, Ben Bernanke having his identity stolen. Supposedly he had his wallet lifted while at a coffee shop or some bistro. To that I say bullshit. Men like him don't go anywhere without hired goons. The guy is a part of the largest crime syndicate on Earth, no one in their right mind would try and steal from him. Naturally right after that event, there was an increase in ID protection and finger pointing at hackers as being the cause.
The final nail in the coffin occurred when hackers intercepted the documentation regarding climate gate. Rather than being a mere nuisance to the PTB, they perceive them as a real threat now because people are listening/noticing/watching.
Real hackers are not 12 year olds running booter scripts and bots in IRC based chat rooms, shady people selling questionable material from a trench coat on a street corner, or some slimy unkempt degenerate who attacks John Doe's home PC for kicks. They seek to understand, not just computer systems, but anything and everything. They believe in the freedom of information and sharing that with those who are interested. It's because of this that they're being spun on the news as evil and dastardly, and because more and more people are reading the information they're presenting.
'Truthers'/seekers of alternative info and hackers are very similar. Like hackers, their aim is to decode, understand, and freely distribute the information they've gathered by cracking the code of reality and oppression. It's for this same reason that these events are going on. Had there been no legitimacy for conspiracy theories, none of us would be here. Quite frankly I would rather be focusing on other things, but I can't do that until I can assure the safety of my family, friends, and countrymen. I'm sure I'm not alone on this.
The self-proclaimed elitists are getting desperate. Their time is quickly coming to an end and they know it. It won't be brought about by violence and negativity, but with love, logic, reasoning, provinces of unfamiliarity for them. They've lived in the shadow for so long that they don't know any other way. They're relics of a past age, and they're quickly becoming obsolete. We have no need for them, and they're parasitic at best. It's time to shed the dead weight they apply, spread our wings, and fly without limitation.

I think what they could try and do is to buy up all the ISP's, then get all the searvers linked through one main frame and then the terrorists will blow it all up in a one'r or several well coordinated attacks and its end ex for the Ws3, all that is needed is a power cut or a false flag flare up and its gone, and when things are restored like the last depression you money and your life line has gone.
At the same time take out all other avenues of resistance, it will happen in a dawn raid style take down or something like that leaving everyone in the dark litterally if it happens in winter it will be all the more effective for them.
I don't think the people are going to react and boycot when they are free to do so, but continue buying into their system feeding and funding it for their own transportation to destruction and control, its as if we want it this way, laws of the jungle type stuff, remember when bush senior said, when we get our new world order and we will, he was telling us quite plainly what he was up to and we still do nothing, this may be a forward thinking or reactionary collection of silly words just like Aldous book, but its definately comming to a head any time soon as soon we go to sleeple by the second every time another form of community is removed.
I feel the end game is not that far away, just look at the build up of troops around the world, the fema camps, coffins, massive new grave yards and home land youth protection forces being grown, in schools, green cops etc etc, I think for the majority its already too late, I really do, if it happens we are ready to take on the brave new world, Aldous Huxley was right when he wrote that book, but we did nothing knowing then and I guess we will do the same when it actually comes, bugger all as per USUAL but take the easy way out.

I wonder if this is an indication. A few times we've got behind with our virgin media bill and had everything shut down, our TV, not that I watch it, our phoneline and emails, but never once has the internet gone down!
The last time this happened just after Christmas we deliberately extended the none payment of the Bill just to see what happened, and guess what our internet was still hail and hearty. Why is this so?

Poor systems lol. They administrate your connection to 'the internet' so they can cut you off. There are lots of ways to access the internet though, some legal, some not. There are always going to be companies who will sell you access to 'the internet'. They might be big corporations or a small company based on an oil rig and working under international law.
Things like forums started on Bulletin Board Systems that you phoned in to. Most people 'hacked' 0800 numbers to access them for free. Did you know that with a stanley knife, a cheap phone from Argos and a public phone box, you can call anywhere in the world for free or connect to the internet anonymously? With a chinese spider skimmer and a usb dongle you can steal your neighbours internet from streets away. If you live near a college or business then happy days. If totaly desparate then with a cb radio and decent antenna you can create your own local 'internet'.
The 'internet' isn't the problem. People communicating is the problem and now we've seen what instant global communication is like, we aren't going to give it up very easily. If we have to go back to photocopied zines then we will and to be honest, that might improve the overall quality of information.

You make some excellent points here. It is possible to connect in a number of ways, but even if that's all taken away, there are other methods. In some respects I agree with the photocopied zines bit. The info reaches the reader as is, and is harder to alter. The internet is much easier to alter information with. Basically, it's that communication that's really important, not so much the medium in which we're using. I'm all about keeping the internet as is, but if it's further subjugated, I can always find some other way to communicate with others. It won't stop the process that's under way, only slow it down a little. The momentum is already built up, and there isn't anything the PTB can really do now.

All the good hackers have been hired by the government.
lets hope not, but i dont think its a few peop they worry about its a collective group of hackers they would worry about nothing they could do but pull the plug if a well organized group wanted to play around, and they would also love to label a group like that cyber terrorists that way it makes them easy to alienate and point fingers at so the sheep give in with what there goals are which is total net control but they will need a false flag op of some kind i hope something like this on cnn is not all it takes
