Photo examined for Madeleine clue
The picture was taken in Morocco three weeks ago

A photograph of a small blonde child in Morocco is being studied by experts examining the disappearance of four-year-old Madeleine McCann.
The photo, showing the child being carried on a woman's back, was taken three weeks ago by a Spanish tourist.
Madeleine disappeared on 3 May from a holiday apartment in Portugal.
Her parents' spokesman, Clarence Mitchell, said there was a resemblance but urged caution as numerous previous sightings had come to nothing.
He said the photograph had been passed to the McCann family via their legal team, and was also with Spanish police and British and Portuguese authorities.
On an initial glance, it appears to look like Madeleine - about the right age and of European appearance
Clarence Mitchell, spokesman for the McCanns
Spanish websites, including the Spanish radio station COPE's site www.cope.es, have published the picture.
The tourist, Clara Torres, said the similarity to Madeleine was striking.
It is understood she had taken the photo in August but had only recently downloaded her photos.
She said she decided to hand the photo to police on Monday after reading of other recent possible sightings.
Madeleine McCann
Madeleine has not been seen since 3 May
Mr Mitchell told BBC1's Breakfast it was the first time a picture like this had come to light.
"On an initial glance, it appears to look like Madeleine - about the right age and of European appearance."
However, he said, Kate and Gerry McCann have a policy of not commenting on each sighting.
"Kate and Gerry know all too well through bitter experience that all of the sightings up until now have come to nothing unfortunately.
"So you can imagine the sort of emotional rollercoaster each time that sort of information comes in."
Marrakech sighting
News of the photo comes days after reports that a British man believed he had spotted Madeleine near a hotel in Marrakech in the same location and on the same day as Norwegian tourist Marie Pollard reported seeing her.
When Madeleine first disappeared, police asked holidaymakers on the Algarve to submit their photos for examination.
The McCanns are formal suspects in the inquiry into the little girl's disappearance.
They insist she was abducted while they ate at a nearby tapas bar with friends.

It looks very much like Maddie, I hope it is her and her parents can be reunited with her. As for the battleaxe, the jails the way to go.

I remember she also was possible seen in Marocco not long after her dissaperance, I don't think the police took it too seriously.
But let's hope there will come some good out of this ,because it looks very much like her.

So, what about all the nonsense about it being a faked photograph and the rest of the usual bullshit that goes on around here? That nonsense was quickly put to rest.

why is it that only certain children get to make main stream news when they go 'missing'?
however tragic,I dont even pay attention to these 'make news' types of stories.
1000's of children go missing every year.(Montauk) I just wonder who picks which children we should focus on next?

of course this is the issue at hand..but WHO picks which missing children make the M.S.N
I mean I can imagine 'them' all in some darkly lit, smoky room going over photographs/stories of the masses of missing kids 'ok this kid will make a great distraction' put her on CNN at 5'

Blonde hair, big blue eyes. BIG "awwwww I feel terrible for her" factor involved.

I only hope that the other 69,000 children who go missing in the UK each year get the same media coverage, speculation and analysis.
Oh shit did we forget about them?!

A lot is determined by the noise made by the parents....whether they are genuinely using all of their energies and making use of every possible avenue to get it out there (as I imagine we all would), or doing it to get the finger pointing somewhere else..

Todays headlines in "The Sun" (also known round these parts as "The Daily negative")...
NWO poster-girl and microchip your children advocate, Kate McCann is said to be devastated by the news that some random grainy picture of a child in Africa is not actually her missing child after all. Mrs McCann was heard to say "how can it be Maddy? She's de- uh I mean um never mind we must keep looking - give generously folks, especially you Branson!". The search continues.
Ah well, why not have the front page of ALL the papers once again and we can ram the idea of microchipping your children down your throat some more...

The difference between them and Madeline, and why she is getting all the coverage, is that Maddie is not missing!

I totally agree that much more missing children should get more news coverage! :(
Hey, did anyone think it was weired that just yesterday morning the newspaper with that picture went out.
By the evening, news reporters were saying that it been discovered that the little girl was not her, and showed what appeared to be the cover of a magazine with the picture of the real girl and her mother.
All in such a shirt space of time?

No, I didn't think it was weird at all.
It was a huge attempt to detract from the previous day's story which was the first real one since the whole thing started:
The evidence of Charlotte Pennington (and two others).
They need our prayers for their protection...

Are people forgetting that the reason all other missing children haven't been receiving the same coverage is because Madeleine was a special case to the powers that be, meaning she was significant in their ritual sacrifice. By making the world's dumb population know about her will increase depth of mass energy triggered by emotions. Even Julieray on here said she was crying every day for missing Madeleine. This is no ordinary missing child. When a sacrifice occurs, as in the cases of Princess Diana and the Twin Towers the advocates and initiates (those involved) then feed off the public's emotional feedback.

Stop looking for other children or stop looking at the news? If the first then no of course people shouldn't stop looking for their children.

I feel me saying battleaxe was uncalled for, these people are berbers and Muslims. Blonde hair is very common amonst these folk, but it doesn't make them superhumans.
Lots of kids go missing in the world, and in third world countries they are forced into prostition and beggary. Even though I hate David Duke, he was honest enough to hilight this problem in his books.
