European Institute of Interdisciplinary Research - Think Tank
http://www.eiir.org/

EIIR’s unique structure provides both the ability to conduct high-quality, independent research and the capacity to interact effectively with its stakeholders and partners.

EIIR has been established as a non-profit association under French law (Loi du 1er juillet 1901). Its Board of Advisors consists of individuals with backgrounds in government, business, academia and civil society.

EIIR's funding is exclusively project-driven and composed of research projects funded by private corporations, national and regional governments and international bodies such as the European Commission, the United-Nations or the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), such a diversified funding base being a key principle to ensure EIIR’s independence.

EIIR's roots can be traced back to INSEAD, where its founder Dr. Takis Damaskopoulos conducted academic research at eLab, the INSEAD’s centre of excellence in knowledge for management in the digital economy.

EIIR is a European Think Tank created as a French non-profit association (association loi 1901) on the 23th of June 2003, by a publication at Le Journal Officiel de la République Française endorsing its statute on the 2nd of August 2003. Since its creation, EIIR has been involved in several research engagements in areas ranging from organisational and technological domains to policy or regulatory dimensions for the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the European Commission, the regional government of Umbria (Italy), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Center for Economic Research of Uzbekistan to name but a few.

EIIR’s staff are regularly invited to participate in meetings and workshops and to present their works at prestigious international fora and symposia that bring together recognised researchers and practitioners. EIIR’s research outputs are widely disseminated through both in-house reports and publications in leading academic and professional journals. The latest EIIR’s research paper Toward a Network Topology of Enterprise Transformation and Innovation has been recently published by the MIT Press.
