The key is to forget what you have learned and seek God rather than a religion. In other words, don't allow media cloud your goal.

Wow, nice quote. We can say that this verse is a legitimate one. However, we are not sure if people understand this correctly, so we are gonna provide an interpretation for this verse.

Jesus is talking about the stages of Oneness here. So what is sought is God and nothing else. When you leave aside anything and seek for the One, you will find Him; which means you will be able to see the path that leads to Him. When you find Him, you become troubled; meaning that after you see the obstacles on the path, you realize you have to make many inner battles to reach Him. So, you start to focus on your relationship with God, than your public appearance and public life. After a time, you will be granted knowledge and this will really astonish you. How? We can not tell. This is not just learned knowledge, it is awareness. We have tasted this and we hope for you the same.

Now, "Ruling over the All" is God's property. How can it be attributed to a human? Well as we said before, everything is God's manifestations and nothing else. When people saw the difference between Jesus and them, they thought Jesus was goddish. They were wrong. Jesus became a "Perfect Man", where God manifests so rich, it is nearly impossible to differentiate between the two. It is the absence of duality. Every thing the person does is God's will.
