Do you not have anything possitive in your life since you seem to go to great lenghts to be angry at people?

Does what someone else think (if it differs from your point of veiw) really bother you so much?

Why?

How come you cant just state tour own thoughts without having to belittle anyone elses?

Would it not be better to spend this great energy on something that makes you happy (like a grammar forum or a "we hate hippies" community?)?

Do you have to be mean and sleezy about soooo many things????

Just some questions I would like answered, I just dont understand, does it feel good to come across like a twat???

This goes on all the time, its just every now and then we let it affect us and we either react or retaliate, usually i just ignore the nasty, ignorant, goading questions/comments but every now and then i bite coz i just cant get my head around their nastyness, or im caught on a 'bad day' but it makes no difference- some people will never 'get it' they are just on literally different wavelengths!!! its a waste of time and energy to even grace them with a response....use your energy for something worthwhile!:)

It is highly possible that these people DO feel the same amount of Joy a person feels when expressing Joy, Love and Happinness...

...which to me highlights Duality quite perfectly!

Oh yes, anything is possible, but I know that I myself feel misserable when I act in this way.
But I guess misery and joy are as closely related as any of our emotions!

I realized that when you confront them to face the truth, they become negative. It is a defensive mechanism . In fact, fears make them react like that. To be negative and to be confronting is not the same thing.

But I do see where you're coming from.

A lot of times though
The people that irritate us can teach us
The most about our self and how we react
With other people.
Sometimes I have to bite my tongue hard

Hey The more i go out to public to see whats up the more i am digusted by the people surrounding me.. everyone is so negative...

When you try to help them.. they say you need help, they think you are crazy.. but deep down inside they know you are right.. but because of there low vibration i guess they wouldnt accept help from you they just cant take it...

I quit smoking cold turkey after smoking for 10 years since i was 14 years old.. When i see anyone going to smoke.. i just simply go and brush my teeth.. and as far as i know it is also impossible to smoke anything after you brushed your teeth very well. You stay clean and protected. Your Health is raising a notch and more to come.

My garamatagigalogical erroerrrs lol know no bounds lol. but i am a poor typist.

I do my best with the fingers i have after a saw accident (industrial) so i have lots of typos.

If i concentrate , I can pin together a reasonably decent post most can understand lol.

Why poeple have to feel superior over such issues is beyond me too. I just see the unevolved mind in people like this and avoid their input ..as to me it is of no value whatsoever.

Content is what counts.. and the meaning behind it.. to debase another is diminuitive and shallow.

Some people however derive a certain satisfaction from this, as they don't know their Life Purpose.. or way in the world.. so they need to resort to putting another down to make themselves fell better about themselves..bit in so doing .... accomplish the square root of nothing.

Negativity is entirely subjective. When I read threads full of racist tirades and holocaust denial, I get angry and have a negative reaction.

On the other hand, I have provoked negative reactions from some people because I am asking them why they believe something in particular - e.g. Cheney is a Reptile, the Earth is hollow, etc.

It's entirely my choice whether to engage a holocaust denier in a discussion, and for the most part, I tend to avoid reacting emotionally once I've moved to another thread or turned the PC off.

Unfortunately, I can't understand why some get so angry or upset to have their views challenged, as if this forum is 'theirs' and by promoting discussion and debate I'm somehow a pariah.

A lot of very capable and intelligent posters here get treated like scapegoats, and if those of you that believe in infinite love truly do so, then you'd do well to show it a bit more.

I agree, this is not important. Spelling and grammar should not be a consideration. Methodology and epistemology should.

Although I understand what type of forum happenings might lead you to this statement, I think it's foolish, and perhaps even dangerous to theorise as to people's lives without actually finding out about them in a human way.

People's contributions to the Photo thread, both as pictures, and as comments, are highly informative, however.

No, so why the barriers of communication thrown up by those that DON'T want to have their beliefs questioned or discussed.

If I say 'I think LHO killed JFK', its because I've looked at a fair amount of evidence, come to a conclusion, and am happy to discuss it. Who knows, maybe the discussion might shed new light and change my mind.

If I were to say 'I believe that everyone is infinite love' and then get bitchy or aloof when someone asks me to explain...

It's a thin and subjective line between challenging, discussing and belittling. One person might perceive they are being belittled when the other may perceive they are merely challenging. Consensus throughout the forum may offer a wider POV, in a true democratic sense, which is not to say that everyone has to adjust. I think the checks and balances which the moderators provide are adequate, if not to everyone's liking.

Would it not be better to spend this great energy on something that makes you happy (like a grammar forum or a "we hate hippies" community?)?

I think you're really starting to generalise now. I've already dismissed the grammar freaks, but I've not seen any poster who really deserves to be categorised as a hippie-hater. Asking someone why they believe love will cure all, is not hatred.

I think meanness and sleaze are also highly subjective. I also think freedom of speech is a greater force than either.

Until there is a proper debate-sub forum in place (sorely missed around here) the underhanded digs alongside the links and whatnot are wasted and merely sources of irritation, because:

a debate forum is non-existant around here, but could be created:

two people presenting their views without outside interference, until the agreement between the two that an agreement has been reached, even the agreement to disagree.
