Claims on behalf of authorities that naked body scanner images are immediately destroyed after passengers pass through new x-ray backscatter devices have been proven fraudulent after it was revealed that naked images of Indian film star Shahrukh Khan were printed out and circulated by airport staff at Heathrow in London.

UK Transport Secretary Lord Adonis said last week (http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23801351-lord-adonis-airport-body-scan-images-destroyed-immediately.do) that the images produced by the scanners were deleted “immediately” and staff carrying out the procedure are fully trained and supervised.

“It is very important to stress that the images which are captured by body scanners are immediately deleted after the passenger has gone through the body scanner,” Adonis told the London Evening Standard. (http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23801351-lord-adonis-airport-body-scan-images-destroyed-immediately.do)

Adonis was forced to address privacy concerns following reports that the images produced by the scanners broke child pornography laws (http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2010/jan/04/new-scanners-child-porn-laws) in the UK. When the scanners were first introduced, it was also speculated that images of famous people would be ripe for abuse as the pictured produced by the devices make genitals "eerily visible” (http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2010/jan/07/full-body-scan-uk-airport) according to journalists who have investigated trials of the technology.

However, the Transport Secretary’s assurances were demolished after it was revealed on the BBC’s Jonathan Ross show Friday that Indian actor Shahrukh Khan had passed through a body scan and later had the image of his naked body printed out and circulated by Heathrow security staff.

“I was in London recently going through the airport and these new machines have come up, the body scans. You’ve got to see them. It makes you embarrassed – if you’re not well endowed,” said Khan, referring to how the scans produce clear images of a person’s genitals.

“You walk into the machine and everything – the whole outline of your body – comes out,” he said.

“I was a little scared. Something happens [inside the scans], and I came out. Then I saw these girls – they had these printouts. I looked at them. I thought they were some forms you had to fill. I said ‘give them to me’ – and you could see everything inside. So I autographed them for them,” stated Khan.

The story was carried by Yahoo News under the headline “Shah Rukh signs off sexy body-scan printouts at Heathrow”.

Khan’s reference to “girls” with printouts of his naked body scan can only refer to female airport security staff responsible for processing the images produced by the scanners, “professionals” who are supposed to instantly delete the images, we were promised by Lord Adonis.

The revelation that airport security staff are completely abusing any notion of the professionalism promised by authorities by printing out and circulating images of naked body scans should set alarm bells ringing, especially in light of the fact that such images of minors break child pornography laws. British authorities have made it mandatory for travelers to submit to the naked body scanners when asked and have overturned previous rules that prevented under 18’s from passing through the devices.

Within days of the devices being introduced at Heathrow, staff have abused their professionalism and printed out naked scans of a famous actor for their own titillatio

We were promised all along that the body scanners “increased privacy” because they were only accessible to a single employee who had no personal contact with the passenger taking the scan, in addition to the assurance that the images could not be saved and were instantly deleted. It in fact turns out that airport staff have been saving, printing and circulating naked body scans in complete violation of these supposed guarantees.

Furthermore, we were told that the identity of the person undergoing the virtual strip search would also be kept private. The fact that Heathrow employees must have known that the actor was about to take the body scan in order to print out copies of the image also proves this claim to be a total fallacy.

The abuse of the naked body scan images in this instance is a total violation of every data protection law in the UK. Far from treating the story in a comical manner, Khan should be filing a very expensive lawsuit and preparing for a successful and lucrative outcome.

In the meantime, the revelation that the naked body scanner images are being freely printed out and circulated by airport security staff should prove to be the death knell for plans on behalf of governments worldwide to institute the scanners on a widespread basis.

Exposed: Bollywood heart-throb makes mockery of Australia-bound nude airport scanners

A Bollywood heart-throb has made a mockery of an invasive new airport security system set to be introduced in Australia.

The British transport secretary said last week images taken by new full-body X-ray scanners, which capture in detail the human anatomy, would be destroyed immediately and not pose a risk to travellers' privacy.

But Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan has inadvertently put paid to the government's claims, telling BBC talk show host Jonathan Ross that he autographed printed scans of his own body for two female security officers.

"I came out [of the scanner] and then I saw these girls and they had these printouts," Khan said.

"So I looked at them, I thought maybe it's a form you're supposed to [sign] ... and you could see everything inside.

"And then I've autographed them for them."

The scanners are in use at Heathrow and Manchester airports, with Birmingham airport set to follow suit later this month.

Australian airports will adopt them progressively this year, federal Transport Minister Anthony Albanese, said this week.

They will only be used on passengers departing internationally and not all travellers will be scanned.

British transport secretary Lord Adonis told the BBC last week the new system was the same as a "pat-down" search.

"A pat-down search is a pretty intrusive procedure but people accept that because it is important that we do detect whether there are weapons or other powerful substances that people may be carrying," he said.

"A body scanner is in the same category - it is very important to stress that the images which are captured by body scanners are immediately deleted after the passenger has gone through the body scanner.

"Staff are, of course, properly trained and supervised who manage the body scanners."

I saw this interview. It didn't necessarily come across as it reads though. I sat up when he said it too but his general demeanour throughout the interview was 'jokey' and I wasn't convinced that it actually happened. I'd want this verifying by Shahrukh Khan.

me personaly don't mind the whole scan, i believe it will make flights safer, if scaned properly

So much for this statement made by Heathrow security i guess there will be no arrests made as these people are working for the new world agenda now and not the airports ..
Airport scanner staff object to vetting

Nothing to hide - but they'd rather not be checked

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/01...ng_objections/ (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/01/22/airport_staff_vetting_objections/)

Security staff at Heathrow airport are reportedly furious at the suggestion that any of them would ever use pics taken from the new body scanners for lewd or lascivious purposes Critics hit back by warning that staff could use the scanners to collect images of children – or naked adults. One security guard interviewed by Skyport told the paper: "The idea that we are going to get kicks out of seeing a blurry grey image of people’s bodies is frankly offensive.

And when exactly was the last time that devices like these were used properly?

In this day and age of cover-ups, self-indulgences, and general moral decay, you can bet without batting one eyelash that these machines will be used in ways that are an affront to anyone who still possesses a sense of decency. It's a fact, and within a few months you will see this as pictures of people's electronic strip searches start showing up on the internet. Oh never mind, it's just a low wage TSA chap having a bit of fun at your expense.

To begin with, these machines will not make you or anyone else any safer. Why would anyone with half a brain looking to cause trouble walk through one with a weapon knowing full well that the machine would see it? They wouldn't. Instead they would find another way to get what they need on board. The authorities know this, but they are hoping you do not. That way they can use the guise of safety to take away another piece of your privacy, your liberty, your freedom, and your very dignity. That's what it is really about, and if you think different then perhaps you need a primer Fascism 101.

It was a question of time before stuff like this happens. At the airport, scans are not deleted immediately, but stored for a while. The security staff can look back at the last ten or twelve scans done for hand luggage, so I guess the same will be for the naked body scanners. Takes only 2 buttons to scroll back the last few scans.

However, if needed, one can look back at all the scans done by the x-ray. This is to determine human's failure should a plane come down by a bomb - they check all the x-ray machines, look at all the scans a second time, and then they find out who let the bomb-baggage through the security check.

Doesn't surprise me, given the brainless monkeys they tend to employ at airport security.

all the security measures in the world won't help when israel and it's allies are behind most of this terror

i know many of you know this, but we shouldn't lose sight of what brought in these scanners

Israeli firm blasted for letting would-be plane bomber slip through (http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1141434.html)

israeli firms are always involved in these terror operations, such as Lonodn 7/7

Imagine how much of a cunt you have to be to pull off the moniker 'Lord Adonis'...

FFS.

That there is such a person that goes by the name of 'Lord Adonis' who professes to rule over the people should have people out in the streets turning cars over.

wow, didn't take long!

You're right...

Didn't take them long either to introduce the scanners after the 'incident' on Christmas Day...

I'd say they had them standing by ready to go...but that would just be my cynical side coming to the fore...

They are not on google images or for sale on ebay. I still think Shahrukh Khan was joking and unless he verifies his story it's just that, a story.
