I've been researching The Tunguska Explosion and after reading up on Tesla, is it possible that Tesla could have been experimenting and caused the Tunguska explosion?

There are a lot of posibilities with that one. It's fascinating at any rate.

was there any other plausible explanation..
if it was Tesla then it would suggest free energy for the world is possible.

That sir, is an exellent question! :)
But for all those unaware of tunguska, maybe we need a few more details about what the event was, when it happened, how it was explained, whether the official explanation stands up to closer inspection, what was the tesla theory, does the tesla theory stand up (and are there different explanations)...
An interesting Topic!
And still very relevant. If it was Tesla, then was it electromagnetic energy?
Very likely.

I've read a few different possibilities. I can't really recall them from the top of my head, though.

Tunguska is fascinating.
Something caused a very big explosion 5 miles up over a remore area of Russia in 1908.
It is very well documented.
What is was is a mystery.
The least exotic explanation is a comet/meteor exploding.
The explosion was devastating for the forest beneath.

Well with electro-magnet technology, solar energy etc. it's already possible. Just 'expensive' ha, or should I say no monopoly has been created in order for it to be controlled and distributed only to people willing to be a slave for it.
