View Full Version : Why is Icke still asking for donations?

I've asked this a few times but failed to come to an answer...

I'm a good supporter of him and I had subscribed to his newsletter for many years until he had his second Puru. Still I stand by the man and respect what he's doing.

I am just asking why he is still asking for donations for his legal fund? The date says it was last updated almost four months ago...During this time he has told us his representation has gone well, his case has ended but there has not been another peep from him since. Why is it still up there? Surely if he were to keep us constantly updated then more people will continue in his legal fight for the rights of his books?

He may be releasing info through his newsletters so if anyone has an update, please tell me. If this is so then why isn't he updating those non subscribers?

People who are likely to require legal representation sometimes have a "legal defense fund." It is money available to them to use when they need it. It is not necessarily to pay for a specific case.

Why is Icke still asking for donations?

His lawyers are very smart, I assume, - they really need money...

But he stated it was for a specific case where some guy claimed rights to his books and tried to take all his work away and then he gave a few updates such as how the case went and how he was represented. If he won his case then he shouldn't need more donations so I am just wondering if he has won his case or lost it...If he has lost it then why would he be bringing a new book out?

I'm just wanting an update or some openess or something.

If you need money - you just go to work. That's what people do.

What about making money from Art? Music, painting, writing, speaking, dancing...?

I'd say that research and writing books is an art... so isn't that work too?

Just a thought... being a musician who intends to live from my music...

Much Love,

Chris, I have to say that you talk utter bollocks all the time.. Why don't you just fuck off back to where ever it is you crawled from :D

There should be no place in this forum for personal attacks and insults.
However, it is possible that Strider is trying to trash this thread on purpose so it will be moved to the Rant Room.

The mods ought to delete the insulting posts and NOT move the whole thread.

Obviously you have net been involved in a legal case.. Chris, I have to say that you talk utter bollocks all the time.. Why don't you just fuck off back to where ever it is you crawled from :D

Please, save the attacks...You said I obviously haven't been around his legal case and that's exactly what I am saying. I'm asking for an update or at least the recent info regarding it.

Since you've been around his legal case, please give me an update.

What about it? What's your point, mr_moon?
I didn't say that David Icke should get a job at McDonald's? No, I didn't suggest it.
What he can do is set up a number of lectures to generate money. Correct?

Did he do that?

No.

When was the last lecture and where?

Guys, David is not here to answer these questions for himself, and the moderators have not been updated with where the courtcase is currently at, so there's little point in furthering this discussion.

I will discuss this matter with Sean, and if there is anything to add to what we already know, I'm sure he will update us all.

Oh right. Sorry. You just didn't seem very clear in what you said :( I'm a very literal person and take things as i read them...

...a lecture would be a great idea! Hasn't he been writing his new book though? I'd go to a David Icke lecture if he sorted one out... why not suggest one to him somehow?

Well, it was said before that Sean contacts him regularly.
If David Icke needs money why not organize some lectures?

When I need money I GO AND WORK TO EARN THEM, AND I DON'T BEG FOR MONEY.
