About a 2 months ago, I had a dream where I was told to face east and woke up thinking I needed to move my bed. Within 3 weeks, 2 nights in a row I had the tv on in the background and heard something on TV where a guy said he didn't like a house because the bedroom didn't face east and this would knock the guy out of kilter or somethin. The next night watched a youtube vid and where someone said they meditated facing east to recharge their magnetic field. I have never heard this before and it was like I got 3 messages within a short space of time all saying the same thing. I moved my bed following the 3rd 'message' and have never heard it again. Anyone have a clue what it means?

It may come from Chinese Feng Shui. Certain alignments, of furniture, especially something like beds, apparantly influence or energy patterns- so that sort of makes sense about those events you mentioned. I don't suppose it was a coincidence (no such thing!)...by the way which way was it facing before? I can't remember which one was the 'bad' one.

Interesting OP... am not sure about the East, but I do know that for past 30 years or so, I can only sleep well/properly if my head's pointing North.
To the extent that I have been known to re-arrange beds when needed/possible, or failing that, to rearrange my body (sometimes by 180 degrees) whilst fast asleep so I'm aligned with head to North, when not in my own bed. Also, seem to sense (while asleep) if my head isn't aligned North and end up sleeping (and waking) somewhat diagonally... (much to annoyance of one or two previous partners :D).
Also, when I used to be into meditation and visualisation (back in 80's) I always faced North, and found that if I didn't, I just couldn't relax/connect properly.
I found many years ago, it wasn't geographical North, it was Magnetic North, that affected me.. after moving home and finding myself feeling very "off kilter" for a while, suffering regular disturbed, poor quality, broken sleep, and unable to feel properly settled/relaxed (meditating etc).. I finally checking with a compass and realed (numpty that I am) that North on Map is not same as North in reality (energy fields).

You are not the only one, I have experienced similar frustration until I have completely rearranged my bedroom. It is not as if you are following any 'written' code, you know yourself when it fits. Like yourself, I end up with the head of my bed to the North.
