A local farmer has just been seriously beaten and had almost the entire contents of his farmhouse stolen, I'm not sure how the thieves managed to lure the single man outside, but he was relieved of his entire contents probably antiques, we don't know the full story as yet, he is still in a pretty bad way in hospital.
The fuel thefts are also on the increase, expert thieves are going equpied with aparatus that fills their own tanks, so as they don't have drums in their vehicles if and when stopped.
