View Full Version : The rabbit hole goes WAY deeper than maritime law

I've noted that FOTL have got it wrong. All courts are not subject to maritime law, they're subject to Mike's Made Up Law. Looking around my room I've noted the obvious parallels -

I have files. There are files in court.
I sit on a chair. Judges and witnesses sit on chairs
I've got a pen and paper. So have they. Cheeky sods.
I've got a computer. Bloody hell, they have too.
When I form a view on something and make a decision I call it my judgment. Those courts have judgments as well.

It's so clear to me now. The bastards, they're copying me and my terminology. No credit given to me, they've just cheekily got in there and used my terms.

Shit, OMG I've noticed you lot are doing it as well. My words. My language. It's a bloody grand conspiracy against me, the elephant in the room and I never saw it until someone mentioned maritime law ruling the roost. It's deeper than that man. WAY deeper. These evil lawyers, they've copied everything in my life and turned it all into their own evil legal terminology.

Down with them all. These are my words. It's my language. You lot can't use it ever again without acknowledging that Mike's Made Up Law governs it all. I made it all, you're all copying me for your nasty evil ends.

Why get into such a tizzy when you can use their own words© against them?

Truth dispels fiction. It really does.

You've figured it all out!

I've got another one too - as well as copying all my words these scumshite evil judges are basing all their decisions on how they feel about Eastenders episodes. Don't like the storyline, Mr Defendant had better look out.

It's true, I said so.

I was doing a bit of DIY the other day and hit my thumb with the hammer

As you can expect I let rip with a string of expleatives.
Imagine my surprise the next morning I had a letter delivered from Gordon Ramsey, it was a fee schedule for the use of the word f##k
:D

Actually FCUK have copyright on ALL the uses of the letters F, C, U and K.

They may have trademarked FCUK but as for copyrighting all the letters individually probably not.

I cant see that getting past the copyright board it would mean they could sue anyone for using a letter.

Any evidence to support it merlincove

I was in my accountant's office the other day going over my taxes and notice that he had the GOLD FRINGED FLAG in his office.

This was a clue he was a Maritime accountant.

When I told him that as a flesh and blood human being I could not be held accountable for taxes to a person and that I knew he was operating under maritime law because of the flag, he laughed at me and told me hed have my taxes done later this week.

Well, he got them done early and he billed me. Question: Since hes a maritime tax accountant do I have to pay the bill?

French connection limited (fcl) copyrighted the letters fcu and k in conjunction, as far as i can recall, fcuk own copyright of all the conjunctions of the four letters, not as individual letters but all four letter words with those letters.

it might of course be an urban myth, if i find the links i'll post em up :D

What the hell is 'maritime tax law'?

Maritime = ships, boats

Ships and boats do commerce, but the companies that charter teh ships to do commerce and pay tax on the income are registered on land, not at sea.

That proposition is WAY too sensible (and correct) for this this thread.

....or even for FOTL generally!
