I have been reading a lot of this forum, and being a relatively new member (but wide awake since about 1999) I have noticed a hell of a lot of negativity floating around here with people attacking each other and arguing over everything.

It really saddens me, because we should be working together to solve these issues and make a change because if we don't, things are going to get a lot worse in the years to come.

So I thought that you would all appreciate a nice blank space to look at when you are feeling stressed and a thread to come and visit to calm your troubled mind with some clear space to relax and think.

Yes, I've been giving out about this recently......some people just don't want peace, mate. So you've to act upon yourself. I for one care not what other people act like. I can't control that. I control myself, then attend to other people's houses.

yes there is alot of tension on this forum right now(ego flux) i think almost everyone is guilty of wanting there opinions to be heard and verified, but this just seems to be an overall negative wave coming on?? is there something going on astrologically? Are the PTB cranking up the dial on harmful waves?.. WTf? am i falling for it and getting sucked in???... not really sure??? (blame it on me,or any person if you feel you need to but i think its more than that) So in general i think it is best we all project pure positivity(starting now) and awareness and ride the storm out ...let it be...

I came from a forum much worse than this as in aggressive posts and I'm glad this is going that way. At first there were a great deal of debates but then after a while a kind of forum consensus came over and people were offering real research backed up by information, it became very discerned and is where I learned a lot of my stuff from. I also learned how to spot bullshit which is something a lot of people in here would find of benefit.

Let people get the shit off their backs, this world isn't set up to be a tea party. After that we should hopefully get some real good info bouncing around (as long as their isn't much moderation).

I must admit though that there are only a few people on this forum who actually site sources which is a very bad habit. If we don't give references we just get into a condescending I've researched for 12 years so I know more than you types of arguments and we can get into these shouting matches all day, if we want to become a discerned forum we must start siting references or else we'll be a newbie forum forever.

thank you. i completely agree. while i don't expect anyone to change, what would be nice is if we could all put our differences aside (racism, sexism, believers in reptilians v skeptics, etc.) and unite for a common purpose. they are masters at the divide and rule strategy. lets agree to disagree- and figure it all out later.... after we have taken care of the important stuff.

Sorry chris but I can't agree that dumping "shit" off their backs and onto others is the best way to deal with one's own "shit". From a moderators point of view, we can sit back and see who's having a bad day and who isn't from the style of their posting. Thats fine, but once the aggression comes out and is being vented unnecessarily or directed at those who don't deserve it, THEN the moderators have a job to do.

We all need to vent, and this forum is great for that as most here can relate to what others are going through, but nastiness for the sake of getting rid of a bit of "shit" at the expense of others is not only not a nice or mature thing to do, it generally comes up against the forum guidelines.

Hello everyone.

A blank space...I like that;)

From where i sit, I look at any negativity and trolling type behaviour from a stand back point of view. If something upsets me or offends me, it is a great indication as to where I am currently at, and what in myself I need to delve into and pull apart. After all the changes we wish to see must start within ourselves. Any situation in any moment is simply a mirror. Not positive or negative, simply a reflection. Turn it AROUND and make the adjustments within. The things that seem bad/negative to me are things I thank for alerting me to the work I need to do inside me, to create the necessary changes OUT THERE. Without this negativity or things that seem...BAD we would have no idea where we are at, and what it is we need to achieve, which is a resonance that is in alignment with what it is we wish to see.
So a big THANKS to all on this forum who have helped me to achieve this.

I haven't seen anyone on here say I hate you because your black or gay or anything like that so why the need for so many moderators? If people have something they don't like about another, at least they try to find some research to pinn their irritation on something, then others can debate them with other facts and we can come to a higher understanding. I've seen some good debates sidelined because of this.

Still if anyone just wants to vent at another, it reflects on the person that takes offence just as much as the one that does it since they are so easily upset.

Again I'm speaking beyond the point of immature posts which I hope you don't base your arguments off that I would consider strawmen. There is need for moderation if there are really personal attacks or advertising gets on here but its on the boarder of offensive thinking is where you get the real decent info so if we want a well discerned board then we should be tolerant. Although some people might be on here for different reasons i.e. just wanting to chat about Ickes work for instance but this isn't really why I am here, I want to learn. There are several other boards out there which are quite highly discerned but they piss me off in other ways like these people are so easily influenced by agents who are shit stirrers. I don't have time for those people.

Firstly this place is nothing when it comes to attacks, it’s very liberal and easy going. The only other places where you’ll find such nice boards are Hitler type moderation or newage boards.

I don't really have time for the troll posts but if you can link me to them then that would be good...I've seen some which question the overcompensation of good (the accomplice of evil) of these issues but didn't write it in a good manner (who does)...This is quite important as it's at the borderline where you get the good info.

But again I said that I'm not talking about the immature posts, which are strawmen but I've seen several posts knocked for six but actually contained good info in them

It’s the fact that others decide who gets offended or not which pisses me off. Black people didn’t create political correctness; it’s those of their own race. It’s when people think they know what’s better for others that mess with things the most. Rather than wrap them up in a comfy blanket we should simply let those easily offended to be easily offended, it will probably discern them.

The reason you haven't seen posts like this (and there have been some), is because generally, the moderators deal with these posts swiftly.

As far as the number of moderators we have is concerned, I don't consider we have enough! For a start, some of our moderators can only spare limited time to moderating each week. Secondly, this forum runs 24/7, so we need moderators in different time zones to cover this. We have to sleep sometime! At the weekends many of the mods like to enjoy a social life or attend group meeting (like the recent UK forum meets for instance), and others have to work weekends, so at times we have less than a skeleton crew of one or two moderators watching this forum all weekend with very little sleep, and during the forums heaviest traffic time.

In regard to why people come to forums such as this?

Well you must SURELY have noticed that we have people posting on this site who have absolutely no desire to "chat" about Icke's work or discuss topics in-depth with anybody. The truth is, some come here simply to disrupt those who ARE attempting to have such discussions, and this is the reason for the moderation.

We can't please everybody - its simply not possible - but we are doing the best we can to keep this forum a half-decent place for people like yourself to meet and discuss topics of interest with like-minded others.

All I am saying is that the more moderation goes up the info goes down. Most crazy people usually are 99% disinfo but they usually have 1% of pure gold which is what makes them crazy, they think they are right and screw all others. I like these people coming on here and sticking it to everyone, I don't agree with hardly anything of what they say but there is usually a reason for the self rightous tirade.

Anyway, this is not my board so I'll let you get on with it.
