I understand lots of the slit eyes can be a trick of the lighting during interviews, but this one is hard to say that it was the lighting. Watch it on full screen HD.

Even though her head is tilted, her eyes do not follow along. They stay vertical and I think that proves it to be a lightning effect.

If she tilted her head to be horizontal, the slits would following along and be horizontal also. But they don't. No matter how she has her head, they are at the exact same vertical position, so it's just a lightning effect.
