Warning: Phishing Website On Myspace

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have identified a phishing website on myspace which is highjacking people's accounts.

If you are already logged in on MySpace and you click on a link and it says "you have to be logged in to do that," then DO NOT LOG IN AGAIN! It will steal your password and email. If you have already encountered this, change your password ASAP.

well, they sent out a post to all the people on my friends list under my name which was a link to the phishing site. This happened to Synergy777 too.

And if you use that password on other sites with your email address, those are now compromised.

tip: always use a different password for each of your accounts online and don't store them on your computer. luckily this is what I do and it was merely one password I had to change.

thanks for this. i encountered this b4....and had a comment which was a vid which i deleted, cos it looked a bit "ladish" and not what i want on my page...from synergy777 ...which i wouldnt expect necessarily.....soooooooooo, the confusion and weirdness has an answer,....and i have a new password!!! thank you very very much for this info.

well i couldnt actually see/watch the vid, and to my knowledge, myspace watch the vids 1st and "hate porn" or somethin,....but it did look kinda "look at me shake my shit" kinda video from the pic.

So what do you suggest if you click on a link and get the message you described? Hit the back button? Me dumb lol change you're password.
