For all the women out there who feel a bit shy or are afraid to get involved with survivalism You need to know that there are other women out there who do pratice survivalism and homesteading / preperations .

Dont feel afraid to ask any questions or ideas you feel need addressing because there are also women who do this stuff .

Its not all men in combats and camo cream .
Some survival issues cover homesteading , preperations for the family etc .

Some of us on the survival forums do have families too so we are quite human underneith the forum subjects .

None of us pretend to be profesionals , many of us started knowing nothing at all and like many people we also make mistakes when practicing out variouse survivalist skills .

dont be afraid to get involved .

there are two people inwhich to contact if you really wish to get involved with such things like survival trips and weekends , to home greeting meetings that shear homesteading preps .

Mariantisocial ( woman )
Wazaap ( man ).

If you are a woman and want to get to know more contact Mariantisocial .

She is a good person and I am sure she will make you feel at ease with this subject .

we are trying to get more numbers involved with survivalism and homesteading so please do contact Wazaap and Mariantisocial .

Again none of us are profesionals and we dont pretend to be but do our best to make you feel at home when inquiring about these subjects .

Do get involved .

There is another thread being made right now about meet ups and trips .

I will call it , Survival meetups 2010.

If you are a male please PM Wazaap if you feel you want to get involved .

if you are a female please PM Mariantisocial .http://www.davidicke.com/forum/member.php?u=28443

come on , whats stopping ya ?

Speaking for myself only, I don't worry about whether someone's male or female or about making a fool of myself in public, so if I had any questions I'd be asking them already even if I thought I was "the only woman in the village". :D For the time being I've got so many thoughts going round my head about what and when and where and how that I've not narrowed it down to specific questions yet. Nice of you to be concerned about the shyer members of the Icke community though. :)

Saying that, there's two things I do want to know at the moment, but they're not strictly survivalism questions.

One is, are there any new independent villages in the UK (preferably in the highlands of Scotland or Wales) which have been set up to be outside the current bankster-controlled system?

The other is, do you think sellling up and moving out to a community like that in Australia is a better idea than staying in the UK?

If you either know the answers, or know where I should be looking to find them, please do let me know.

Also, Tracker: report button is the warning triangle at the bottom left underneath a poster's name. ;)

The way i see it as in david ickes books, the Uk and americal is central to there whole plan, where better to have a controll centre thna the UK?

I think if the SHTF the uk as in the land will be fine, so the real problem is being able to live off the land and in hiding.

they wont kill everyone - or if it is natural then again everyone wont die, they will be killed off if they are not smart though.

Im gonna stay in the UK as it is great for what we have here - Land etc...

Also it is worth to note - Tracker is the guy for family home survival!

i am a mid 20s withwhat i would call a normal life LOL basically i have a 9-5 with a ok sallery so my choice of survival stuff is well not cheap but im not a millionare either, so if you need help then let me know.

I also put survival packs together for starters, they cost £500 I am about to start selling them so if interested let me know.

(dont know if im ok to say that but i have done my time on this forum and am not a spammer lol)

anyway hope all the information helps.

yeah meees just trying to get attention as usual lol.

hoping to advertise widely .

I just wanted women to know that there is a participant woman who already has done a trip , and met the guys , and hopefully any woman wanting to get involved will feel fine knowing that there is another woman already to take any concerns or question etc .
all in the aid to help women feel at home within the survival sections .

I would also like to add that this year I am working my hardest to create a sort of homesteading night , with accessories , kits , and tiny little tricks that can all be achieved during bad times in the home for couples and families .
this also may include at some time , harsh time food recipes which show how to make basically , food from almost next to nothing , just a few things .
What ways one can secure a house with no electrical alarms etc , real cunning stuff .

I am hoping that this year will prove very productive and will appeal to many people although I am aware that trips etc are subject to a limited amount of spaces .

anyway ,
again if women do want to know and are a bit shy , PM Mariantisocial , you'll soon feel at home .

Otherwise folks , relax , feel great , and have fun .

peace be with you all .

:)

The only thing really u need is a sleeping bag - i find that it is personal preference!

but i have most other stuff - it is basically all the stuff i have tryed and tested out in the field.

It would normaly cost alot more than £500 but i am doing it cost value to DI forum ppl - the actual cost was like £521 i think but still waiting to get final prices from a suplyer.

Anyway if you want one then let me know.

you aint the only one who thinks this .
I do
I know Wazaap does
so does Mariantisocial .
so does Diamondogs.

the trips are a scream , we dont know everything , thats what makes it fun .

we do succeed , but it does mean making mistakes , adapting , making do .

it is more fun than you think and its not as frightening as it sounds .

none of us are professionals , none of us are good at it , we just go out , hit and hope lol , if it looks OK , its OK .

we all have so much to learn but thats the great bit , since we are beginners , this means that every one gets a say , every one has a go .

its actually quite fun .
