is he an alien or an infiltrator of social network sites? and why can he not be deleted?

Maybe he can't be deleted so that he can continue to send everyone updates and stuff like that.
quite logical but he does not need to be on a friends list to do that

Yeah that's true. I just thought that they figured that if everyone deletes him from thier friends list then they might ignore his messages too.

Tom is a MySpace bot. I think he is part of the MySpace network, and automatically added to all new users on MySpace. I think he is there to make it easier to learn how to use myspace.
